Continue in this manner until you reach the center row of the heart. In the next row, you will increase by one bead at the beginning of the row (you've already learned this) and decrease by one bead at the end of the row.

To decrease one bead at the end of the row, you simply stop at the point of decrease. Bring your thread up in position to start the next ro. In our heart pattern, the next row begins with a one bead decrease.
